Illustration for a Baby girl

One of my best friends from childhood is expecting a baby girl.

I am so happy for her! This is something she wanted very much. I’ve actually never met someone so ready to be a mother! This baby will, without a shadow of a doubt, be the most loved baby in the world!

Anyway, the baby already has a name: Alice (isn’t it gorgeous?), so baby Alice… here is a little something I prepared for you. I hope you like it. :)

For the illustration I used fine point black markers and glitter ink on turquoise blue recycled paper. The frame I found at this very sweet decor shop in Lisbon. I love this type of old-fashioned plaster frames. They look beautiful on walls.

I cannot wait to meet this little girl and I cannot wait to see what she’ll be like. Is she going to look like her mum? Or is she going to be more like her dad? They are both wonderful people, so she’ll be lovely either way.
