Life in Germany

Here is a little bit of my life in this wonderful town we call Hamburg. In today’s chapter: “The way to work”.

This is what I see every day on my journey from my apartment to the Advertising Agency where I work:

(I must say that I LOVE it when it snows. Everything looks so pretty!)

Then I jump on the subway and a couple of stations later, I’m standing opposite the Town Hall in the city centre:

I walk past some of the gorgeous canals by the river. They look like this during the winter:

And like this during spring:

I pass some very cute shop windows:

And next thing I know, I’m at the agency!

Hamburg is a beautiful city! It reminds me a little of Stockholm: it’s clean, efficient, perfect from every angle and it’s surrounded by water everywhere, which makes it fresh and happy.

Now that the weather is getting warmer, walking around, having lunch or coffee outside and visiting the parks is that much more enjoyable. My next objective is to get a bike so I can enjoy Germany’s (undoubtedly short) summer as much as I can!

(That’s me, happy, baking in the afternoon sun a couple of days ago. :0)

Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes

It seems like it’s been a very long time since I last updated this blog.

I finished 2011 in Lisbon, saying goodbye to a really great advertising agency where I’ve worked as an art director for the past 7 years, and also saying goodbye to a lot of very good friends that I made whilst working over there.

I started 2012 in Brazil, in the summer, among friends and family, some of the people I love the most in my life.

I am now packing my bags and heading to a completely new adventure. It involves a new location, a lot of illustration, a lot of walking and gazing around. It’s been a dream and a project of mine for the past 4 years and I can hardly contain myself!

Without giving too much information away, here’s a little clue:
