London Fashion Week has come to an end and my last assignment was Elisa Palomino.
Her catwalk show was very theatrical and her collection was all about dramatic gowns and elaborate headpieces. An absolute joy to illustrate, of course!
I always get a little nostalgic when fashion week is over. Though I’m glad to go back to my normal collaborations and ongoing projects, I do miss the excitement and expectation. I never know which designers I’ll be illustrating until the photographs arrive on my mailbox and it’s always a great surprise!
I have so much work to do though, I’ll be a busy bee for the next few days. There will be plenty of new illustration work coming up. Stay tuned.
In the meantime, check out the review of Elisa Palomino’s show here and a backstage interview with the designer here.
