Last week I was asked to create an illustration for an article on the launch of Make Lemonade , a vintage shop on Chalton Street Market, in London. I tried to do something that would have a vintage look, with a bit of color here and there. So here’s my girl:

Have a wonderful week.

I am so in love with the guys over at They Draw and Cook. They have published another one of my recipe illustrations. This time it’s for Cupcakes! Check it out:

Zooming in on the details…

Unfortunately, my blog is a little limited on the formatting front, and as this is quite a long piece, it looks a lot better on TDAC actual website. Click here to have a look.

Wishing you a beautiful and cupcake filled weekend.

Lots of love from Lisbon.

One of my illustrations that was published in ACOFI (Amelia’s Compendium of Fashion Illustration) was created for an interview with amazing Ethical Jewellery designer Emmaware.

This was the final piece:

I did these two other girls too, and although they didn’t quite make the book, I’m still really happy with the way they turned out.

Emmaware’s designs are quite stunning. She creates jewellery out of rubber and other recycled materials, which I think is a brilliant idea. Click here for a preview of her interview on ACOFI.

One of my main goals for this year is to recycle more. Small gestures such as placing trash in the correct recycle bins and re-utilising plastic bags can make a huge difference. Wouldn’t you agree?

Lots of love from Lisbon.

I haven’t seen the movie yet, but I am completely in love with the posters.

Designed by Independent British Design shop LaBoca, the posters show beautiful illustration work inspired by adverts from the beginning of the 20th century as well as Eastern European Propaganda posters from the 60s and 70s. I love the shapes, the colors and the lettering used. Now I just have to love the film too :) – Not hard though. Natalie Portman can do no wrong in my eyes.
